The Nice Jenkins release follow-up
Following their excellent debut album was no easy task for The Nice Jenkins. Thankfully, they were up to the challenge, and have delivered an album that totally avoids the "sophomore slump." Elephant Twisters is a more concise and focused album, capitalizing on the band's strengths.

Conspiracy Theory #1
We tried to warn you, but you didn’t listen! Our new “talkie” podcast, Conspiracy Theory, is live! For those of you who were already subscribed to our New Music Podcast, you already got this nugget of love shoved down your throat. For those of you who are technophobic about podcasts, you can download the MP3 directly from the link below.
For our inaugural episode, we sat down (actually stood in the kitchen) with Record Theory artists The Nice Jenkins. We chatted about the history of the band, hilarious tour stories, and even performed an impromptu Vertical Horizon tribute. Check it out.

Record Theory on Last.fm
I’m in the process of adding every Record Theory release to Last.fm, but that means tracking down my copy of each album! So, expect more over the next week or so. But for now, we have these albums ready to go:
- Truman Sparks - Truman Sparks
- Fire At Will - Increase The Violence
- The Stabones - Liver Let Die
- The Nice Jenkins - The World Famous Hallelujah Cotton Candy Rent Party!
For now, I’ve only activated the free songs as full-length preview tracks. However, I’m leaning towards making each album completely available. Especially with the new Flash player on each page. Please leave a comment if you’d like to hear more of these albums and it’ll help me with my decision.
And while you’re there, go ahead and join the super awesome Record Theory group!
